    This 5 story building addition contains mechanical and support spaces on the lower level, the Emergency Department and Trauma Center on the 1stFloor, Critical Care Unit and Clinical Decision Unit on the 2nd Floor with new Patient Rooms on the 3rd and 4th floors. Mechanical and electrical systems to support this addition include a new Chiller plant with 600 tons of cooling capacity, the addition of a 1,000 kW engine generator and expansion of the paralleling switchgear and distribution system to serve the emergency power requirements, a new electrical service and modification of the utility distribution system to approximately half of the existing campus, snow melt systems for the Ambulance and Ambulatory entrances as wells as the Helistops, and a new fire pump to serve the entire HealthCenter campus.
