Company History

In 1984, Les Brack and Mark Malone started Malone Brack & Associates, P.A. in Manhattan, Kansas. The company employed three employees at that time. Within two and a half years, it had opened two more offices, one in Springfield, Missouri and the other in Topeka, Kansas.

In August of 1988, Les Brack and Mark Malone dissolved their association, with Les Brack maintaining the office in Topeka and Mark Malone in Springfield. The company name was changed to Les Brack & Associates, P.A.

At 1989 year end, Mr. Brack established a partnership with key engineers within the firm. The company name was changed to Brack & Associates Consulting Engineers, P.A. At present, the principals are Les Brack, Dave Krug, and Jeff Dikeman and associates Jeff Romine, Dave Lane and Travis Lee. The firm employs approximately twenty employees.

Brack & Associates commits our solid aggressive mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering talents providing quality, cost effective solutions to client’s needs. Recognized for our attention to detail, on-time completion, accurate construction documents, and strong client/design team focus, Brack & Associates has experienced a constant growth over the past 25 years. Our projects include hospitals, medical facilities, research laboratories, higher education, corporate, and institutional facilities located in the Midwest. Our work profile also includes design of central plant/pumping systems, HVAC, emergency power systems, building control, and energy management system improvements providing cost effective energy efficient systems. Our current clientele base is over ninety eight percent repeat clients with long term established working relationships.
