Experience
Les has been practicing engineering for 21 years since graduation from Kansas State University in 1976. He has extensive experience in all phases of mechanical and electrical engineering. A majority of his experience is electrical systems for commercial, institutional, educational and medical related projects. Recently, his work has focused on business developement and project management for medical and higher educational projects.
Les brings significant project and engineering operations management experience to the firm. Personal characteristics include the ability to work productively internal and external to the organization with effective leadership, integrity and analytical problem solving skills.
Les worked at D.L. Smith Electrical Construction for 2-½ years in the electrical contracting business. This augments his background in electrical engineering where he has gained an especially good understanding about how projects are designed, documented and constructed, and the careful balance between design and client expectations.
Les continues to develop engineering design policies and strategies to elevate Brack & Associates design standards resulting in satisfied clients and energy efficient, cost effective MEP systems for buildings and facilities.
